Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Beyond Memory Loss

The symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease can differ from the memory changes that many people associate with dementia. For some, the first signs may involve vision, language, decision-making, behavior, or changes in daily functioning.

Dr. Gil Rabinovici joins us to discuss why symptoms for early-onset Alzheimer’s may vary from person to person, and what families should know about recognizing and understanding these changes. He’ll also share how advances in brain imaging are helping improve diagnosis and care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Rabinovici is a professor of neurology and radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a behavioral neurologist at the UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center. His research focuses on using brain imaging to improve dementia diagnosis, advance understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, and support the development of new treatments.

Join us Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET for a Live Talk with Rabinovici about the lesser-known symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer’s, how they can affect diagnosis and care, and what patients and families should know.

RSVP to join the conversation.
