Lecia Bushak is an editor at Being Patient, where she manages and reports on breaking news as well as long-form features on Alzheimer’s and brain health. Previously, she was a Reporter/Producer for NPR/PBS in Cleveland, where she covered mental health, the opioid epidemic, environmental health and immigrant/refugee health issues, among a variety of other topics. She’s also written for Newsweek and Medical Daily. She graduated from NYU with a degree in journalism.
