Join us on Friday, May 2nd, at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET, for a Live Talk with Dr. Elizabeth Goldfarb, where she will discuss her research on cortisol, a hormone associated with stress, and how it impacts memory. She’ll also discuss the function of cortisol as a hormone, how memories are formed, and what she has learned studying both cortisol and the brain.
Goldfarb is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at Yale University, where she is also a member of the Wu Tsai Institute, the Yale Stress Center, and an affiliate of the National Center for PTSD. As director of the Cognitive Neuroscience of Affect, Memories, and Stress Lab, her research focuses on how stress transforms how we remember our lives and the consequences of our memories for later behavior.
RSVP to this live talk to learn more about cortisol, the impact of stress on memory, and Goldfarb’s current research.
